John Morris Joins Juniper As the New EVP

Juniper networks announced that John Morris has joined the company as new executive vice president of worldwide field operations, with responsibility for heading Juniper's global sales, services and channel organizations. Mr. Morris succeeds Eddie Minshull, who as previously announced will remain with the company acting in an advisory capacity until the conclusion of the third fiscal quarter ending September 30, 2008.

Mr. Morris, 47, joins Juniper Networks from Pay By Touch, a pioneer in biometric payment solutions, where from 2005 to 2008 he served in the roles of chief operating officer and chief executive officer. Morris joined Pay By Touch following a 23-year career with the IBM Corporation in which he served in a range of executive assignments, most recently as vice president and general manager of the Distribution Sector in the Americas region.

As a member of the Juniper executive management team reporting directly to Scott Kriens, chairman and chief executive officer, Juniper Networks, Mr. Morris assumes full responsibility for leading the global field operations organizations and serving more than 30,000 Juniper customers around the world. “We are very excited to have John join the Juniper executive leadership team,” said Scott Kriens.
